Summer. Officially.

Sometimes I have a hard time remembering that I live so close to the beach. I still look at pictures of beaches and think, "Dude, I wish I were there right now." Then I realize I can drive 20 minutes and hit the water.

This week has finally felt like summer, so this is my ode to summer and beaches and the fact that I live in Cali and still haven't totally let it sink in.

I'm Cheating on Fashion with Furniture

Since my apartment search has officially commenced, I am now looking for design inspirations for my upcoming studio apartment. Sure, I haven't actually found one I love yet, but my hope is for exposed brick and high ceilings.. a girl can dream right? Either way, I want to fill it with vintage furniture and at least one chandelier. Living alone means I can cheese up my apartment however I want.

Currently channeling: The '70s

Dreaming of bell bottoms, floppy hats and chunky heels. After spending my Sunday afternoon at the flea market at Fairfax and Melrose scouring vintage clothes, I have a newfound obsession for '70s era clothing.
