Wide Load.

So I thought in order to spice things up on my blog I would feature 5 trends this week that I've never been able to pull off, but have always wanted to. Then I'm going to take the leap and actually try them this spring/summer. Very exciting, I know!

First up, the dreaded WIDE LEG PANT. For some reason, the dimensions are always off for my body type. Much like the romper (upcoming post), my long torso, long leg combination always end up with a giant camel toe when I try to wear wide leg pants. It's disturbing. But I'm going to put in the extra time and effort to find the perfect fitting wide leg pant for summer. I'm making it happen.

Sweet, sweet Dree.

So as of recently, I've become obsessed with Dree Hemingway's style. Oddly enough, I really thought that she was Australian. I just found out that she grew up in Idaho and is the great, great granddaughter of Ernest Hemingway. She's some kind of "actress/model." Basically she's just gorgeous and rich and goes to fabulous parties. Aka she's living my dream life. Bitch.

But seriously, she was by far the best dressed at Coachella. (PS the reason I didn't do a street style Coachella post is because everyone is annoying the SHIT out of me with their nonstop Coachella posts. I like to stand out from the crowd. hahahah classic.) Anyway, stalk her pics and let me know if you're obsessed with her too. Ali is definitely creeped out by how many pictures I looked up of her today.

Dia de Hump.

Well it's Wednesday, which means it's almost Thursday which means it's practically Friday. That we can all be super excited about. I guess today is as good as any to start planning out the weekend, yes? I am thinking since the weather is supposed to be excellent this weekend I will spend Saturday soaking up some sun on the beach and then hitting up a few thrift stores. I feel like I've been majorly slacking when it comes to hitting up thrift stores in LA. This is mainly because they are so expensive and time consuming since everything is so picked over. That's one of the huge things I miss about the Midwest, so many amazing thrift finds for crazy cheap!

In other news, yesterday I received an email from a street style photographer that snapped my pic when I was in Brooklyn. He let me know I was featured on Nylon Japan's website. So weird right? Thought I'd share the pic with you (very bottom of the post).

Happy Wednesday!
